We don't hand out bars ourselves. Every Give Bar goes through food banks, shelters and school meal programs that already reach people who need food. They know who needs what. We make the bar that fits.

How we choose partners
Standards, not a wish list.
A partner has to meet all four. Miss one and the bars sit in a warehouse, or land somewhere nobody can eat them.
- Established infrastructure
- They already reach people who need food. We hand bars to people who do this every day rather than handing them out ourselves.
- Local first
- Boston-area to start, where we can build real relationships and confirm delivery in person before we scale anywhere else.
- Allergen-safe fit
- The Give Bar is nut-free and shelf-stable by design, so it works for shelters, schools, and pantries without a cold chain or an allergy screen.
- Confirms receipt
- Partners tell us what they actually received. That's what makes the ledger's delivered column true rather than estimated.
The division of labor
They do the hard part.
Reaching people, knowing what's needed, handling the distribution. Our job is the smaller one: make the bar, hand it over, and publish both numbers where you can compare them.
