How it works
One bought. One given. Every time.
No rounding, no minimum, and no “portion of proceeds.” Every snack you buy makes a second one for someone who needs it. Both numbers get published where you can compare them.
You buy a bar.
Your flavor, your pack size. Dates, whole nuts, no refined sugar. This is the one you're paying for, so it has to be worth buying on taste.
We make a second one.
Every bar sold means we make a Give Bar too. Bigger, nut-free, and good for a year without refrigeration. Built for the person who gets it rather than for a shelf.
We make them in monthly runs.
On the 1st we count what sold the month before and make exactly that many. The number comes from sales, not from a budget we picked.
Food banks hand them out.
Give Bars go to food banks, shelters and school meal programs that already reach people who need them. We don't hand them out ourselves.
You can check the numbers.
Every run goes on the ledger: bars bought on one side, bars handed over on the other, every partner named. The QR on the wrapper opens that page.
The bar you buy has to win on taste. The Give Bar has a different job, which is why we make it separately instead of boxing up the retail one. Why two bars, and what it costs.
What this doesn't do
A snack is relief, not a cure.
One bar doesn't end food insecurity. It feeds someone once, through people who do this every day and know who needs what. What we can promise is that the second bar gets made and that the count goes up where you can check it.
