What we know about you.

One form on this site asks you for anything: the launch-list form. It is optional, and when the list is not open it is not shown at all. You can read the whole site without giving us a thing.

If you submit the form, we receive your email address and nothing else. We do not ask for your name, we do not attach what you looked at, and we do not try to work out who you are.

We also keep a record of what you agreed to. Every version of the sentence under the signup button is kept with the date it went live — the current one is v1, live from 2026-09-29 — so the date on your record and that list together give the exact wording you saw.

Two emails: a welcome note confirming the address, and one when we launch. That is what the sentence under the button asks you to agree to, and it is the whole of it. If we ever want to write for another reason, we will ask inside that second email rather than decide it on our own.

Links inside our emails are tracked. A click passes through Resend before it reaches the page, and it is recorded against your address so we can see which emails were useful. Nothing on the website itself does this, and it stops the moment you leave the list.

Two companies, and only in order to run the site:

• —Resend stores the mailing list and sends our email. Your address is held there, with the date it was added.
• —Vercel hosts the site. Like any web host, its servers record standard request information — IP address, browser type, the page requested — to serve pages and stop abuse. We do not read those logs and we do not set their retention.

Neither may use your information for their own purposes. Nobody else receives it, and we will not change that without saying so here first.

Every email carries an unsubscribe link and it works immediately. Clicking it marks your address as unsubscribed, which stops us writing to you.

It does not erase you. The address stays on file marked unsubscribed — that record is how a mailing list remembers not to write to you again. If you want it gone entirely, ask, and we will delete it outright without asking why.

There are no advertising cookies and no tracking pixels on this site, which is why you have not been asked to accept anything. Two cookies exist and neither is for you: one holds the owner's sign-in to a private admin screen, the other lets the owner view pages that are not published. If you are reading this, you will never be issued either.

We count which pages get read and whether someone joined the list. The measurement is cookieless and first-party: it does not follow you to other sites and it does not build a profile of you. A rule is written into the code rather than into this policy — a measurement event may carry the shape of what happened and never an email address, a name, or any text you typed.

Ask and we will tell you whether your address is on the list, correct it, or delete it. We answer to the address in question, because that address is the only thing we hold — there is nothing else we could check you against.

Depending on where you live, the law may give you these rights formally. We would rather honour them for everyone than sort people by where they live.

This site is for adults. We are not set up to collect anything from a child under 13, and if one has sent us an address, tell us and it goes.

If we change how we handle your information, we will change the date at the top of this page. If the change is a meaningful one, we will say so rather than hope you re-read the fine print.
